The Bay Area Sundowners sport kite team has been performing for large crowds since 1980.  Originally formed in San Francisco, the team has undergone changes and its members have varied throughout the years.  However, the philosophy and goals of the team  have remained steady:

To have fun flying kites, to always give our best, and above all, to entertain our audience with a spectacular show

This site allows us to provide you with information about our team and some of our adventures and performances.  It also profiles the people who have helped the team get where it is today.  The schedule section  provides information about where in the world you can see our next presentation.  We  look forward to saying hello to you in person at one of our shows!
